The Polka Dots were born from our love of close part harmony and the group that – in our dotty opinions – were the original and best: the Andrews Sisters. Back in 2009, vintage was experiencing a revival, and we decided to go for it. We had no idea where the journey would take us, but soon found ourselves working with an amazing film team, and The Polka Dots took off!

We’ve done 80th, 90th and even 100th birthdays, as well as countless weddings, corporate and charity events, and festivals. We sang ‘I Wanna Be Loved By You’ as the bride and groom landed at their wedding at historic Goodwood House. We’ve sung on the main stage at the Glenn Miller Festival. And we always love it when a celebrity chef brings us food backstage at the Good Food Show (thanks Tom Kerridge!).
If it sounds like we’re busy, we are! But we rarely have to turn down a booking. That’s because there are actually lots of Dots in the group, so we can do more than one gig a night. We can sing with professionally recorded backing tracks or with our live six-piece Dashes band. Whether you want background music that gets people talking (say, during dinner) or a set that gets everyone dancing, we tailor our style to fit your celebration.

Our Christmas act, The Santa Babies, was born from our hugely popular festive events at London airports. It’s also our favourite – and busiest! – time of year and who doesn’t love an excuse to wear a fur-trimmed costume (faux of course)? Find out more about The Santa Babies here.
